You can not solve today's problems with yesterday's solutions.

I wonder

Imagine if you could,
A puppet made of glass,
with burning amber strings.
It acts as a tool,
serving purposes unknown.

the life you lived-
crashing down.
Lights so bright,
shadows die,
now perfectly placed.

Trees grow to seedlings,
clouds turning to ash,
a perfect shape in sight.
I grow into a giant-
or so it may seem.

The world now,
just a speck of dust,
our destiny approaches.
We reach for the star-
death is the perfect state.

Heart Beat

A kiss before you sleep,
A kiss when you awake,
But still it shall take,
A lifetime of care,
To convey how much-
How much I love you.
My heart is weak,
My blood is thick,
You are the cure,
To my affliction.
Our hearts beat as one,
When you depart,
Death overcomes,
My heart goes numb.
I breathe you in,
And live again,
Without you I am broken,
Lifeless as stone,
Without you I have no purpose,
Willing to remain alone.

Hear You Me

The worst fear,
Is knowing you're alone.
The ideal torment,
Is dying with another.
Solitude is misery,
If not then why live.
Satisfying only your own-
Selfishly consuming,
Never to retain-
Only for an instant.
Savor the silence,
Like a convicted man
Sentenced to eternal damnation.
The taste so delicious,
But a bitter beginning
To a terrible end
No matter-
Death arrives soon now.

To be numb,
No longer my passion,
Life is meant to live,
Savored slowly,
Bask in the flavor-
Enjoy the stimulation.
For if living is tragedy,
Then death is your demise.
If living is glorious,
Then death is embraced.

If Looks Could Kill

If Looks Could Kill

If looks could kill the,

The end is too near.

She turns heads enough,

Necks break and bodies lay.

One look is simply not enough,

Pictures cannot do justice,

And my eyes are not worthy enough,

For more than a glance.

Car crashes follow in her path,

A glowing ember floating from the ground,

Compares not to her smile,

The colors of her iris.

The beauty she attains could command empires,

And have them destroyed in an instance.

Many may say beauty is a gift,

But for her a curse.

Too much of a wondrous thing,

Can end the lives of those,

Who wish to attain.

What men would do for a taste,

Would make some question our race.

She walks the earth alone,

Too beautiful to enjoy,

The comfort of a man's warmth.

Until the day I made my way,

Through the crowds and destruction.

To rise against the power of her beauty,

And look into her painful eyes,

All this beauty and destruction,

And she is the means for this disastrous end.

I offer a solution and she smiles.

Everyday she lives in my arms,

None shall die from her curse,

For I am he who cures the pain within,

For I was created to save those,

Possessed by your stunning presences.

To save them all she may love is me,

A simple request to save the world,

And her pain.

For if looks could kill,

She will be the death,

Of everything around me,

Except me.
