You can not solve today's problems with yesterday's solutions.

If Looks Could Kill

If Looks Could Kill

If looks could kill the,

The end is too near.

She turns heads enough,

Necks break and bodies lay.

One look is simply not enough,

Pictures cannot do justice,

And my eyes are not worthy enough,

For more than a glance.

Car crashes follow in her path,

A glowing ember floating from the ground,

Compares not to her smile,

The colors of her iris.

The beauty she attains could command empires,

And have them destroyed in an instance.

Many may say beauty is a gift,

But for her a curse.

Too much of a wondrous thing,

Can end the lives of those,

Who wish to attain.

What men would do for a taste,

Would make some question our race.

She walks the earth alone,

Too beautiful to enjoy,

The comfort of a man's warmth.

Until the day I made my way,

Through the crowds and destruction.

To rise against the power of her beauty,

And look into her painful eyes,

All this beauty and destruction,

And she is the means for this disastrous end.

I offer a solution and she smiles.

Everyday she lives in my arms,

None shall die from her curse,

For I am he who cures the pain within,

For I was created to save those,

Possessed by your stunning presences.

To save them all she may love is me,

A simple request to save the world,

And her pain.

For if looks could kill,

She will be the death,

Of everything around me,

Except me.
